About Billy Bob's
Billy Bob’s Dog Resort is situated at Pypies Square Park in Devil’s Peak – one of the Mother City’s most beloved dog hangouts. We provide a fun, healthy and safe home away from home with all the love, comfort, exercise and stimulation your pooch deserves. Our activities range from exhilarating walks to action packed neighbourhood patrols and play at the park with the local dogs. We also have a garden to relax and play in, and there are loads of toys, chews, beds, couches and sunny spots to choose from, as well as a cosy fireplace during winter!

Meet the Team
Isaac and Enno are our happy and trustworthy dog guardian angels whom everyone loves and adores, including the dogs. Isaac has gained a reputation of being somewhat of a dog whisperer because he has a way of communicating with the dogs like no other. Enno calls the dogs his children and loves to chat to the dogs. We know these two fabulous men are why the dogs love coming to Billy Bob’s!

Hourly Care
Available 7 days a week
Day (7am-5pm): R45 per hour
Evening (5pm-11pm): R70 per hour
We provide hourly care for up to 5 hours. Thereafter the full daycare rate applies.
DAYCARE
Available 7 days a week 7am-7pm
Irregular: R245 Per Day
1 – 3 Days per month: R245 per day
4 – 7 Days per month: R220 per day
8 – 11 Days per month: R205 per day
12 – 15 Days per month: R190 per day
16 – 19 Days per month: R175 per day
20 or more days per month: R160 per day
Overtime for departures after 7pm: R45 per hour
We feed the dogs here at 7am and at 6pm. Owners must please feed their dogs prior to arrival, and provide food for dinner if necessary. Alternatively, we provide meals (pellets and / and delicious and nutritious home cooked gravy) at R40 per meal.
We charge R35 per hour for daycare dogs collected after 7pm.
Sleepovers
Available 7 days a week
1 Night: R350 per night
2 Nights: R320 per night
3 Nights: R295 per night
4 Nights: R275 per night
5 Nights or more: R255 per night
Rates are charged in 24-hour periods from the time of arrival. A R45 per hour charge applies to additional hours on the last day.
Resort Life
In Loving Memory
AJ has lived in Pypies Plein since he was 16 years old. Being an only child his brothers and sisters were dogs and he as always had dogs in his life. AJ started Billy Bob’s Dog Resort in October 2020 and created a happy and safe place for dogs to be. He did an excellent job of creating an efficient doggy day care running according to his very high standards. AJ was diagnosed with a very aggressive leukemia in January 2025 and after 8 months of many medical interventions he sadly passed away. We all miss AJ dearly and with the sadness we hold in our hearts we also hold so much love and admiration for what he created. Rest in Peace dear AJ.
